Copycat Chick-fil-A Frosted Lemonade | 365 Days of Baking and More

What would a typical day be like at the fast-food chain known for its fried chicken? Follow along on 365 days of baking and more.

The “how to make frosted lemonade” is a recipe that has been popularized by the Chick-fil-A company. The recipe is easy to follow and will leave you with a delicious drink.

Lemonade with Frost is a delicious concoction of lemonade and rich ice cream. It is simultaneously sweet, tart, and creamy, tasting like a milkshake and a lemonade. Our take on the delectable Chick-fil-A sandwich Lemonade with a frosty top tastes just like the original, but without any extra sugar! The best way to combat the summer heat is with a delicious chick fil a sweet delight replica that the whole family will enjoy.

I have a confession to make.

I have a thing for Chick-fil-A. Like, very profoundly and passionately. I really love the area so much. Down to the Chick-fil-A dipping sauce (OMGEEEEE YUMMY!!!) and waffle fries, everything was delicious, even the chicken sandwich and nuggets.

    1659737652_683_Copycat-Chick-fil-A-Frosted-Lemonade-365-Days-of-Baking-and

I always order the same thing off the menu, particularly in the sweltering summer. It’s also not chicken. Their icy lemonade is what it is. lemonade with a frosted finish.

I usually drink the thick, creamy lemon milkshake too quickly and get a brain freeze because it is so good. Value it.

I knew I had to figure out how to create Chick-fil-a Lemonade with Frost at home after I saw that the standard recipe just calls for a lemonade combination and ice cream.

    1659737653_105_Copycat-Chick-fil-A-Frosted-Lemonade-365-Days-of-Baking-and

What will I need to create this recipe for iced lemonade?

In order to make our own recipe taste as authentically as possible to the original, my daughter and I taste-tested several ice cream and lemonade combinations. Yes, this required us to spend a whole day sipping milkshakes. Oh, poor us!

The following mixture of components gave the greatest outcomes and tasted the most like the original:

    • Natural vanilla ice cream from Breyer’s
    • Lemonade made by Newman’s Own
    • juice of fresh lemons
    • Lemon rind

Have you seen the greatest part yet? Unlike some other recipes, there is no extra sugar here!

Can I make this frozen lemonade recipe with other kinds of lemonade and ice cream?

I strongly advise using the lemonade and vanilla ice cream brands I mention. We experimented with a variety of ice creams and lemonades and discovered that these two tasted the closest to the stuff from Chick fil A.

Don’t panic if you can’t find one or both at your neighborhood grocery shop. If you make do with what you have, it’s still pretty darn tasty. In their recipe, Chick-fil-A is said to exclusively utilize lemons of the Sunkist brand.

Lemonade with ice cream, lemon juice, and Lemon rind is one of the most refreshing drinks you can make for summer. I hope you love it as much as we do!

    Copycat-Chick-fil-A-Frosted-Lemonade-365-Days-of-Baking-and

How can fresh lemons be used to produce Lemonade with Frost?

Seriously, making this homemade iced lemonade couldn’t be simpler.

    • Scoop some ice cream, lemonade, and other ingredients into a reliable blender, and let it go to work.
    • Pour the contents into two large glasses, add a reusable straw, top with additional Lemon rind and a lemon slice if you’d like and sip away!

    What is lemonade with ice?

Vanilla ice cream is added to lemonade to create Lemonade with Frost. A chilly beverage with strong taste is created by the combination of citrusy zing and sweet vanilla.

Although the Chick-fil-a Lemonade with Frost is the authentic version, our home-made version is just as good.

Serve Lemonade with Frost as a dessert, a beverage to enjoy by the pool, or as a side dish with a light summer dinner. You’ll like it at any time of day since it has the ideal ratio of sweet and tangy tastes of lemonade.

    Cocktail Recipes

Despite the fact that the name of my website includes the word “baking,” my second, less-than-hidden recipe love is for beverages.

Because it resembled Chick-fil-A’s lemonade the most, I used store-bought lemonade for the recipe for Lemonade with Frost that follows. I have the ideal recipe for frozen lemonade for individuals who enjoy a homemade lemon beverage.

I made this strawberry lemonade as well and just loved it. Don’t you agree that lemonade that has been heavily flavored with fresh strawberries just tastes better?

Another drink that begs to be drunk on a hammock in the shade is a coconut cooler. They have coconut instead of the more conventional Mexican horchatas, which they somewhat resemble.

Make some Pina Colada Milkshakes or Frozen Bahama Mamas in the blender that you just dusted up. You just need a beach!

Or keep it straightforward and pour this Cucumber Grapefruit Water into a large glass. Drinking chilly water with cucumber in it has a certain allure. Even on a typical workday, it gives me the impression that I’m relaxing in a spa.

    Lemon Recipes and Desserts

Desserts are one of the ways my family cools down during the heat! I really like creating desserts using lemon at this time of year.

Let’s face it, nobody likes to turn on the oven when it’s hot and muggy outside. It has long been a favorite to make this No-Bake Lemon Cheesecake. Every mouthful cools you off and is simple to prepare. Another simple dessert for the summer that is overflowing with lemon flavor is Lemon Marshmallow Poke Cake.

I usually go back to a tried-and-true recipe when I’m stuck for what to bring to a summer potluck: Lemon Bars. Every time I eat these, I feel delighted because of the buttery exterior and the delicate lemon interior.

These scones are fluffy, sweet and perfect for breakfast or dessert.
I’ve been holding out on you all year – just waiting to show off a recipe I developed in honor of the upcoming peach season! These scones are so light and airy that they’re almost like clouds- but with fruit inside them! They have a rich lemon flavor from finely grated zest mixed into the batter before it’s baked. The finished result is slightly crisped around the edges. It really does not get much better than this when it comes to summertime treats!.

The “best peach scone recipe” is a delicious and easy to make breakfast or dessert. It is made with fresh peaches, almond flour, sugar, cinnamon, vanilla extract, and butter.

When it’s peach season, making these simple Fruit Scones is the ideal way to start your day with a grin. This summer, prepare the most soft handmade scones to go with your morning coffee or afternoon cup of tea by gathering some fresh peaches, Cheese, cream, and basic ingredients.

    Fresh-Peach-Scones-Recipe-365-Days-of-Baking-and

Fruit scones are the finest kind of scones. It is true.

Every mouthful of these fresh Fruit Scones has a tender texture, the ideal amount of sweetness, and the taste of peaches and cream.

    1659560053_731_Fresh-Peach-Scones-Recipe-365-Days-of-Baking-and

A simple technique to give your scones additional taste and a lovely flash of color is to add fruit to them. Since a few years ago, I’ve made raspberry scones sometimes. I had to try making a simple peach scone recipe as soon as peaches were in season.

The good news is that raspberries and peaches both work well with scones. I’m not sure which one I like!

    1659560054_994_Fresh-Peach-Scones-Recipe-365-Days-of-Baking-and

Which ingredients will produce the ideal scones?

    • Whole-wheat flour
    • Sugar
    • a baking soda
    • Salt
    • icy butter
    • Cheese, cream
    • A recent peach
    • Egg
    • Heavy cream or milk
    • Sugar, if desired, with turbinado

The secret to scones that stay soft even days after baking is that Cheese, cream. It also adds a very subtle hint of tang that gives the scones a perfect peaches and cream flavor.

This recipe for peaches and cream scones may not be to your taste if you like crumbly, dry scones. And that’s just OK!

I’m aware that many people like freshly baked scones with a texture more akin to a thick biscuit. I like mine soft, wet, and just a little bit sweet.

    Fresh-Peach-Scones-Recipe-365-Days-of-Baking-and

How should I prepare fresh Fruit Scones?

Remember to pit, peel, and dice your peach before anything else. White or yellow peaches may be used, but make sure the peel and pit are taken off.

Once the peach has been prepared, it’s time to prepare the dough and preheat the oven.

Sift flour, sugar, salt, and a baking soda into a large bowl.

With a pastry cutter, cut in butter and Cheese, cream into the dry ingredients until the mixture resembles coarse meal.

With a fork, combine the egg, milk, and fresh fruit until the mixture becomes soft dough.

Just enough flour should be added to prevent sticking when rolling or patting the dough into a circle that is approximately 1/2 inch thick on a lightly dusted surface.

    1659560056_846_Fresh-Peach-Scones-Recipe-365-Days-of-Baking-and

With a 2-inch cutter, cut rounds; reroll and cut leftovers. Avoid over-kneading as you gather the little dough fragments with a bench scraper to make another circle.

I cut the dough for these scones using a 2-inch biscuit cutter, but I’ve also created scones by rolling out the dough into a circle and slicing them before baking. If you’d like, you could make these Fruit Scones that way.

You may also top the scones with a little dusting of turbinado sugar after the scone dough has been cut into slices. Then, space the unbaked scones approximately 2 inches apart on a baking sheet covered with parchment paper. 12 minutes or until the top is just beginning to turn golden brown.

Before serving heated, transfer the scones to a wire rack and let them cool for a few minutes. However, chilled scones taste just as good!

    Recipes for breakfast

I’m not sure whether that’s true, but if breakfast really is the most important meal of the day, I’ve been living it perfectly.

I feel more prepared to tackle whatever duties lie ahead when I start my day with a satisfying breakfast, whether it be a simple piece of handmade English muffin bread or a generous portion of our Mexican Breakfast Casserole.

Nobody has ever regretted having a few warm, freshly baked scones available for quick breakfast consumption. Making scones with various tastes dependent on the fruits you have on hand is also quite simple.

Any morning of the week, you’ll like these Easy Strawberry Scones and Mixed Berry Scones. The comforting tastes of these Apple Cinnamon Scones are an autumn family favorite. I usually make an effort to bake Lemon Poppyseed Scones at least once in the spring.

Do you prefer salty or sweet food for breakfast? If given the option, I would prefer a blend of the two, particularly for a leisurely lunch on the weekend.

When brunch (or breakfast) consists of a Denver Scrambled Breakfast Braid with a batch of French Breakfast Puffs on the side, you can’t go wrong!

    Fruit recipes

Whenever feasible, I like to use fresh, ripe peaches in my baking. They give scones, muffins, tarts, and other baked items such a rich taste boost.

These moist scones’ sliced peaches are also great cooked into a batch of muffins with peach streusel. When you’re seeking a warm, freshly baked morning treat, muffins are such a simple and fast solution.

If you love all things peaches and cream, make sure to try my Peaches and Cream French Toast recipe next. They’re the perfect solution when you have a house guest and don’t want to spend time over the oven. These Cinnamon Peach Pancakes are another favorite, especially with extrA recent peach slices on top!

I combined peaches and blueberries in a simple Peach Blueberry Galette for dessert since they are often in season at the same time. Isn’t vegetables in the summer the best? I really believe that it is past due for me to include a peach pie on my site as well.

Even your main course may include luscious delicious peaches with dishes like Grilled Tilapia with Strawberry Peach Salsa. Incredible.

Turtle Parfaits – Quick & Easy Dessert

These easy turtle parfaits are a sweet and refreshing way to start your day! They only take about 10 minutes to make, making them the perfect weekend treat.

The “turtle parfait dairy queen” is a dessert that is quick and easy to make. It has a layer of cake, chocolate, and vanilla ice cream.

Layered desserts like these Coconut Parfaits are simple to make. You’ll taste a dark chocolate pudding with nuts, whipped topping, sweet sauce, and steamed tofu in every mouthful. Simple but luscious and delicious Coconut Parfaits are ideal for entertaining or as an evening treat.

    Turtle-Parfaits-Quick-Easy-Dessert

I’m honored to be working with the United Soybean Board and Best Food Facts to bring you this piece. Every view I have is, as usual, entirely my own.

If I hadn’t informed you, you wouldn’t have known that this fantastic dish contains tofu. Just did you make a face? Seriously, I STRONGLY recommend—no, I beg you to—try it yourself. It must be THE creamiest, richest pudding I’ve ever had. OH MY GOD!

    1659111553_752_Turtle-Parfaits-Quick-Easy-Dessert

I was recently on a soy farm trip, and it gave me the idea to create this simple Coconut Parfaits dessert. I traveled to Iowa with a few other bloggers to visit a soy farm, speak with farmers about their agricultural methods and commitment to sustainability, and even prepare some meals with various soy products.

We tested a few other recipes, including this soy-silken dark chocolate pudding. Wow, was it ever wonderful! After taking just one mouthful, I realized it would make the ideal component for Coconut Parfaits, which are identical to my Turtle Dream Bars. I’ll get to the recipe right away, but let’s first discuss a little bit about…

    1659111554_919_Turtle-Parfaits-Quick-Easy-Dessert

    Sustainable Agriculture

“Long before the phrase “sustainable” was ever a concept in the minds of consumers, family farmers have been focused on passing their farm, including their land and an ability to produce livestock, on to the next generation.”

    Farms Rommereim (est. 1874)

Know about it? The agricultural techniques that farmers employ on their farms ensure that they will be able to pass down both the farm and the land for many years to come, which makes it very significant. Farmers work to produce the greatest possible crop or animal for the customer while remaining profitable and using the best methods currently available.

Many farmers, like Dave Struthers of Struthers Farms, sometimes decide to use a no-till method for their crops. In order to minimize erosion and preserve the enormous number of microorganisms present in the soil, they will turn the soil as little as possible.

The endeavor to utilize the manure from their cattle is one of the many things I’ve always found intriguing on the several farms I’ve visited. Farmers aren’t only eager to get rid of that manure from their property because of how bad it smells; it’s also very vital!

Farmers don’t have to purchase it since it is used to fertilize crops like soybeans, saving them money. Additionally, it has fantastic nutrients, which are fantastic for the soil.

Notice the cycle in this? The manure is used by the farmers to cover their fields of soy and other crops. They often combine what they harvest with other necessary materials to create a feed combination that is then fed to the cattle they raise. so on.

    1659111555_205_Turtle-Parfaits-Quick-Easy-Dessert

What does Sustainable Agriculture mean for food production?

Sustainable Agriculture for food production means that you can be sure the farmers are working their hardest to bring you THE best item they possibly can. There are many concerns over GMO’s (genetically modified organisms), and many people believe they are unsafe to consume when in fact, according to the World Health Organization,

“No consequences on human health have been proven as a result of the general population’s intake of [genetically modified foods] in the nations where they have been allowed,” according to research.

You must be aware that farmers also feed their families while producing food and raising livestock for customers. Additionally, farming is their way of life and the only source of income for many. Their worry is the same as yours. Yes, there are foods that contain GMOs, but that doesn’t imply they’re harmful or that they have a negative impact on our health.

A few years ago, while I was working with Best Food Facts, I spoke with Dr. Jessica Lyons about the research she was doing at the University of California, Berkeley, with the yucca plant. Through the use of CRISPR technology, she had been eliminating chemicals from the plant that may kill people in far-off nations where they do not consume enough protein. This allows this food supply to serve a far larger number of individuals than it otherwise could.

As usual, I urge you to visit a farm, become a member of a CSA, and get to know a farmer by asking them about their life. As you listen, I assure you that what they tell you will impress you. Numerous farmers I’ve spoken to over the years have all expressed extreme pride in what they do and how they do it.

It’s the farmers, man! I adore them so much and hold them in the highest regard for all they do, including how they go about doing it, their desire to further improve their farm and farming, and the amazing food they provide us because…

There wouldn’t be food if there weren’t farmers.

    1659111557_946_Turtle-Parfaits-Quick-Easy-Dessert

How many ingredients are required to create Coconut Parfaits?

    • steamed tofu
    • dark chocolate powder without sugar
    • granulated sugar
    • Viennese Extract
    • Stabilized Whipped Cream or Whipped Topping
    • sweet sauce
    • sliced pecans

    1659111558_194_Turtle-Parfaits-Quick-Easy-Dessert

    What is steamed tofu?

steamed tofu, is one of the two commonly known kinds of tofu. It is also referred to as soft tofu, silk tofu or Japanese-style tofu. This form comes in a soft, medium, firm, and extra-firm consistency as does the other. For this pudding recipe, I used the soft form, but for the most part steamed tofu is interchangeable, so don’t worry if you can only find a firm steamed tofu. Be gentle when handling because it does tend to fall apart, but we are going to break it apart, so it’s not that big a deal if it does.

Due to its thick and creamy texture, it is often used as a dairy substitute in dessert dishes and may also be used to create sauces, salad dressings, and other things. Additionally, many utilize it during baking!

    1659111559_624_Turtle-Parfaits-Quick-Easy-Dessert

    How is soft tofu drained?

Place a plate on top of the tofu after removing the wrapper from the container. Flip the plate holding the box firmly against it swiftly and gently. Jiggle the jar to carefully remove the tofu. As you gather the necessary components, let it rest on the plate for 5 to 10 minutes. It will “weep” and spill liquid over the plate when it sits. To remove the tofu, just hold on to it with one hand and tilt the plate into the sink. Alternatively, you may soak up the excess liquid with a paper towel until you are ready to use it.

    Coconut Parfaits

These Coconut Parfaits are an easy, layered dessert. With layers of a dark chocolate pudding made with steamed tofu, whipped topping or Stabilized Whipped Cream, sweet sauce, and pecans, they’re simple, yet decadent and delicious making them perfect for company or just as a weeknight dessert.

Prepare Mode Avoid having your screen go black.

    Instructions

    • Drain the steamed tofu by placing it on a plate to sit while you prepare the other ingredients for the recipe. Place the plate over the sink and gently placing your hand on top of the tofu to hold it from slipping, pour the water into the sink. Or you can also use a paper towel to soak it up. Slice it into cubes.

    • Place the tofu, dark cocoa powder, granulated sugar, and vanilla into a food processor, and puree for 1 minute. Scrape down the sides, and mix for another 30 seconds.

    • Place ⅓ cup chocolate pudding into the bottom of each serving dish. Cover with a tablespoon each of sweet sauce and sliced pecans. Put ⅓ cup of whipped topping over that, and then add another layer of pudding followed by more caramel, and pecans. Pipe or scoop additional whipped topping over the pudding. drizzle with a little more sweet sauce and sprinkle with pecans.

    • 30 minutes should pass in the fridge before serving. Although you may omit this step, I’ve discovered that the dessert tastes considerably better after being cooled all at once.

    Notes

NOTE: The nutritional data is based on a dish for two people, but you may split the dessert equally to feed four depending on the container you’re using. I did somewhat overfill the two cups, as you can see from the images. Even if you just serve two people, there will probably still be enough pudding and whipped topping for you to eat another time.

Rum Slush with Pineapple and Coconut

This refreshing drink is a South Asian pineapple-coconut slush with a generous splash of rum. This recipe can be made ahead and frozen in an airtight container for up to 2 weeks.

Pineapple, coconut milk, and rum make for a refreshing drink. This slush is perfect on a hot summer day.

The ideal beverage for a hot summer day is this pineapple copra rum slush! These quick fruity drinks can be made in a matter of minutes with just three ingredients, and they’ll go over well at pool parties or any event with a tropical theme.

Have you ever prepared a pineapple-infused rum slush?

You’ll understand why this new recipe has quickly become my favorite summer beverage after taking just one taste of this coconut pineapple rum slush!

    1658959998_613_Rum-Slush-with-Pineapple-and-Coconut

There’s a good reason why pineapple and coconut are often combined. The smooth, somewhat nutty coconut taste blends well with the juicy, acidic notes of pineapple. The most popular alcoholic rendition of this taste combination is the pina colada, but this rum-infused pineapple slush recipe is set to challenge it.

This slush, which is made with whole, fresh pineapple and coconut-infused rum, tastes like summer in a cup! All you’re lacking is a day without obligations and a trip to the beach.

Looking for a recipe for a non-alcoholic beverage using this traditional tropical blend? My Pina Colada Milkshakes are really tasty and simple to prepare. Did you know that the Pia Colada is the national beverage of Puerto Rico? That is awesome!

    1658959999_773_Rum-Slush-with-Pineapple-and-Coconut

    What am I lacking?

This rum-based alcoholic slush recipe simply calls for three ingredients.

    • an ice cube
    • Cut a fresh pineapple into cubes for simple mixing.
    • copra rum

The ideal approach to garnish the completed drink is in the same manner I serve frozen Bahama Mamas: with more pineapple slices and cherries. When I want a small taste of vacation at home, those little finishing touches are really welcomed. Even various types of fruit are acceptable.

    Creating a Rum Slush

    • Once you get the ideal frozen drink consistency, add all the ingredients to your blender and puree until combined.
    • Add ice, rum, and as much of the pineapple as you can to your blender if you can’t fit all the ingredients in at once. Then add the remaining pineapple and mix again to incorporate after pulverizing the ice to make extra room in the blender.
    • 30 seconds was more than enough time in a high-speed blender to get the right slush consistency. Blending the items thoroughly might take up to two minutes in lower-powered blenders.
    • In large hurricane glasses or tall glasses, pour the rum slush. Add additional pineapple wedges and maraschino cherries as a garnish!

    1658960001_44_Rum-Slush-with-Pineapple-and-Coconut

Do I need to utilize a fresh pineapple in its entirety?

For this recipe, you don’t need to peel, core, and chop a whole pineapple. To replace the fresh pineapple in this rum slush recipe, a fantastic alternative is to purchase the rings or cubes that have been peeled and chopped. It takes less time and effort and tastes just as good.

Can I use frozen pineapple in this slush recipe?

Yes, frozen pineapple is a great alternative to fresh pineapple. In the event that you use frozen pineapple, be sure to exclude the ice. In order to get the ideal slushy texture, you will also need to add more pineapple than is specified in the recipe.

Nota: A pineapple rum slush with added sweetness develops when the ice is left out and replaced with just frozen pineapple.

    1658960002_544_Rum-Slush-with-Pineapple-and-Coconut

Do I have to use copra rum?

No. In this rum slush, you may use whatever rum you prefer. Even though you won’t taste coconut, any white rum tastes wonderful when mixed with ice and pineapple. For a touch of tropical flavor, you may taste-test and add some coconut water, coconut milk, or cream of coconut.

Not a rum fan? Use vodka or tequila to make this drunken pineapple slushie instead!

    Recipes for pineapple

While we’re talking about pineapple-flavored drinks, I should remind you how delicious this Pineapple Coconut Silk Smoothie is on a hot day. Bonus: It’s healthier than any milkshake and dairy-free! Additionally, if you wish, you may use ordinary milk or almond milk in it.

After preparing your pineapple slush, if you have any leftover pineapple, preserve it and prepare some grilled pineapple for dessert! For a cool, sweet, summertime treat, mix it with some ice cream or eat it by itself.

Although I like using fresh pineapple in my cooking, tinned pineapple is far more convenient, particularly when baking. Both of my recipes for pineapple bread and pia colada cupcakes are really simple to prepare and have the most delicious, juicy pineapple taste.

A traditional pineapple upside-down cake is also hard to surpass. With additional cherries, please! Another enjoyable approach to use pineapple in your dessert menu is via pineapple pie.

    1658960003_38_Rum-Slush-with-Pineapple-and-Coconut

    RUM COOKIES

I’m reminded of the delicious Pineapple Rum Cake I baked during a recent Caribbean vacation when I create a pineapple and rum slush. it’s rum It’s a fantastic way to add beach tastes to your food without producing frozen beverages!

You may as well bake a loaf of brown butter rum banana bread while the rum bottle is open. In that recipe, rum and the richness of browned butter were combined to create a fragrant, savory topping for a straightforward loaf of banana bread.

    Recipes using Coconut

The rum in these slushies gives them their coconut flavor. There is no need for additional ingredients since the taste is ideal for a pineapple rum slush.

Only a pitcher of Coconut Coolers will do when I’m in the mood for more coconut flavor in a beverage. Since there is no alcohol present, I may have them whenever I want for a sense of vacation!

The majority of the time I consume coconut, it’s in baked goods like chocolate coconut cookies or toffee coconut oatmeal bars. People commonly ask for these coconut-macadamia sugar cookies, particularly around the holidays. And when I presented my Double Chocolate Coconut Cream Filled Bundt Cake at the conclusion of a dinner party recently, my friends who like coconut and chocolate combined raved about it.

    Blue Raspberry Dream Bars {Gender Reveal!}

A blue raspberry dream bar is the perfect confection for a gender reveal! These sugar-free, gluten-free little treats are easy to make and taste just like their popular sister. Plus they’re made with mostly whole food ingredients you likely already have in your kitchen.

These “oreo pudding dream bars” are a great way to celebrate the gender reveal! They are easy to make and taste delicious.

The ideal delicious treat for the summer or a gender reveal party is a blue raspberry cream dream bar. This quick, enjoyable, no-bake dessert dish uses blue sprinkles and a creamy whipped topping to color traditional raspberry cheesecake bars.

    Blue-Raspberry-Dream-Bars-Gender-Reveal

Looking for dessert ideas for a blue gender reveal? Dream bars are adored by everybody!

We added a blue touch to our well-liked Raspberry Cream Dream Bars recipe! You’re going to like these no-bake bars, whether you’re celebrating the impending birth of a boy or just seeking for the ideal blue raspberry treat.

    1658876296_865_Blue-Raspberry-Dream-Bars-Gender-Reveal

The tart, sweet, and creamy cheesecake is the perfect complement to the tart, sweet raspberry filling. They taste just like the blue raspberry novelty sweets I used to get from the ice cream truck when I was a youngster when they are served cold.

Blue raspberries don’t really exist, did you know that? Sweets with blue coloring applied to raspberries are known as blue raspberry desserts. The cheesecake bars appear a little bit more spectacular thanks to the splash of vivid blue hue.

The best part: making Blue Raspberry Dream Bars couldn’t be simpler!

    1658876298_714_Blue-Raspberry-Dream-Bars-Gender-Reveal

    WHAT DO I REQUIRE?

The ingredients for these cheesecake bars are similar to those in all of my Dream Cocktails.

What you’ll need for the crust is:

    • Cookie nilla wafers
    • salt-free butter

What you’ll need for the blue raspberry JELL-O layer is:

    • raspberry blue gelatin
    • heating up water
    • icy water
    • cheese, cream
    • food coloring in blue
    • optional raspberry extract I didn’t use raspberry extract when I made these, but if you like a stronger raspberry taste, you may use a teaspoon.
    • Use my home-made stabilized whipped cream in place of Cool Whip.

These are the components you’ll need for the Layered Cheesecake:

    • cheese, cream
    • granulated sugar
    • Vanilla flavoring
    • additional cool whip for serving!
    • blue sprinkles or sugar for decoration

    1658876299_772_Blue-Raspberry-Dream-Bars-Gender-Reveal

How do I prepare this dish with blueberries?

Make the cheesecake crust in Step 1.

First, grind the Nilla wafers into crumbs in a food processor. Add the melted butter and blend with a spatula.

Put the mixture in a baking dish that has been parchment paper-lined at this point. While you create the other raspberry dream bar layers, put the crust in the freezer to cool.

Making the raspberry cream filling is step two.

Start by dissolving the gelatin powder in heating up water. Then whisk in icy water and chill the JELLO mixture in the fridge for about 10 minutes.

The JELLO should cool down but not set, as a pro tip! Don’t overchill the filling or it won’t come together.

While the JELLO cools, beat together cheese, cream with raspberry extract and food coloring in blue. Gradually incorporate the cooled JELLO mixture and mix to combine. It may take a while, but the more slowly you add the blue gelatin to the cheese, cream mixture the less clumps of gelatin you’ll get.

This filling should cool in the fridge for an hour. The ideal consistency will be reached as it thickens and cools.

Create the Layered Cheesecake in Step 3.

For the cheesecake, beat together cheese, cream with granulated sugar and Vanilla flavoring. Fold in one cup of cool whip.

    Assemble in Step 4!

It’s time to put all those tasty layers together to make the best ever blue raspberry cheese, creamcake bars!

    • Over the frozen crust, spoon the cheesecake. To create a single layer, distribute it evenly all over.
    • Fold the cooled blue raspberry cream mixture into the leftover Cool Whip from the container.
    • Spread the raspberry cream equally after carefully pouring it over the Layered Cheesecake.
    • Place in the refrigerator for at least 6 hours or for the whole night.

    Blue-Raspberry-Dream-Bars-Gender-Reveal

    Slicing and Serving Advice

The bars are easily and fuss-freely cut thanks to the parchment paper. Grab the parchment’s corners and remove the whole pan of uncut bars out at once.

Slice through the bars with a big knife that has been cleaned with hot water and dried with care. The bars will appear picture-perfect and the neat cuts will produce less crumbs.

Add extra Cool Whip or whipped cream to the top of each bar. Before serving, top with BLUE SUCCEED, sprinkles, or other edible decorations!

    1658876302_225_Blue-Raspberry-Dream-Bars-Gender-Reveal

    How should I keep them?

The best way to enjoy dream bars is cold, right from the fridge! Any bars you don’t want to consume straight away should be kept securely wrapped in the fridge. Enjoy for optimal flavor within three days.

    Dream Cocktails

After discovering how to build dream bars, I couldn’t be stopped. Making new taste combinations is a ton of fun, and everyone enjoys them.

It’s no wonder I have more than 20 different Dream Cocktails on the site, plus plenty of other variations on the no-bake cheesecake concept.

I’ve got you covered if you love chocolate. These chocolate bars with peanut butter and chocolate bars with turtle filling taste like a dream come true.

Folks, they don’t call them “dream bars” for nothing.

I also enjoy chocolate mint dream bars and chocolate covered strawberry dream bars for their sheer richness.

Oreos and cheesecake seem like they were made for each other. Especially when they’re combined to make Oreo Pudding Dream Bars or Cookies & cheese, creamcake Bars. It’s woth buying a few extra packages of Oreos next time you go shopping, just for an excuse to add them to your next dessert.

In relation to cookies, I sort of like Circus Animal cookies. You know, the ones with the pink frosting and sprinkles and animal shapes? Unable to resist, I came up with a recipe for Circus Animal Dream Bars.

Those bars’ hue would also make a fantastic simple dessert dish for gender reveal parties. Make a batch of pink dream bars and a batch of Dream Bars with blue raspberry cream. Then, using the color bar of their choice, everyone may “guess” the gender!

Looking for more Dream Cocktails with fruit? Along with the raspberry version, I have recipes for blueberry, cherry, strawberry, and orange creamsicle dream bars for any craving.

    berry recipes

Raspberries may easily be used in cooking and baking to give color, sweetness, and a zingy taste.

Instead of using real berries, today’s bars are created using raspberry JELLO and extract. Check out this amazing Orange Spice Cake for a recipe for a dessert that uses real raspberries. It is the ideal holiday treat since it is loaded with a delightful mixture of fresh raspberries and cranberries. By incorporating a little amount of Simple Raspberry Syrup into the icing, any cake may be transformed into a raspberry cake. It is a fast and simple method to add raspberry taste to many sweets and beverages.

And if you want raspberries for your first meal of the day instead of your last, give these easy and delicious Raspberry cheese, cream Scones a try. Everyone who’s made them loves them.

Dream Bars with blue raspberry cream

Dream Bars with blue raspberry cream make a perfect sweet treat for summer or a gender reveal party! Classic raspberry cheesecake bars are tinted blue with a creamy whipped topping and blue sprinkles in this easy, fun, no bake delicious dessert recipe.

Prepare Mode Avoid having your screen go black.

    Instructions

    Crisp Nilla Wafers

    • Use parchment paper to line an 8 x 8-inch baking sheet so you can simply remove the bars to slice and serve them.

    • 5 tablespoons of butter should be melted in a medium bowl in the microwave for around 30 seconds. If required, stir and melt for a further 5–10 seconds.

    • The Nilla Wafers should be pulsed in a food processor until they resemble tiny crumbs. With a rubber spatula, combine the melted butter and cookie crumbs until well combined.

    • Spread the mixture evenly in the prepared baking pan by pouring it in and pushing down. Pan should be frozen for at least 30 minutes while the remainder of the dish is being prepared.

    raspberry blue gelatin

    • Into a 2-cup measuring glass, mix the raspberry blue gelatin with 3/4 cup heating up water. Stir until dissolved. Add the 3/4 cup icy water and stir. Place into refrigerator until completely cooled, but not set – about 10 minutes.

    Layer of Blue Raspberry Cream

    • In a mixing bowl, beat 8 ounces of the cheese, cream with the raspberry extract and red food coloring.

    • Pour the cooled gelatin mixture in gradually while combining everything. Place in the refrigerator to cool and thicken for an hour once absolutely smooth. View Note.

    Layered Cheesecake

    • In a mixing bowl, beat another 8 ounces of cheese, cream, the confectioners’ sugar, and vanilla together until smooth and creamy. With a rubber spatula, fold in one cup of the Cool Whip.

    • Using an offset spatula, drop portions of the cheesecake mixture over the chilled crust and distribute to create an equal layer.

    Continued Blue Raspberry Layer

    • Fold the remaining Cool Whip (approximately 2 cups) into the cooled blue raspberry cream mixture with a rubber spatula until it is well combined and spread.

    • Gently pour the blue raspberry cream onto the Layered Cheesecake and spread evenly with an offset spatula.

    • Place in the refrigerator for at least 6 hours or for the whole night. I’ve found that overnight is best.

    • When slicing, pull the bars out of the parchment and out of the whole pan. Slice through the bars using a big knife after running it under hot water, allowing it to dry between cuts if needed. This will make clean cuts possible.

    • Serve with more Cool Whip or my Stabilized Whipped Cream dollops and garnish with BLUE SUCCEED or other decorative elements.

    BLUE SUCCEED

    • In a small bowl, place 2 tablespoons granulated sugar. Add 2 drops of food coloring in blue and mix thoroughly. Pour sugar onto a folded paper towel and set aside to dry. Sprinkle over the bars before serving, if desired

    Notes

Use the amounts of water in this recipe required to mix the raspberry gelatin. DO NOT use the amounts listed in the box Instructions. We want a more stable gelatin and less of it. If raspberry cream mixture is left in the refrigerator for more than one hour, the gelatin will harden and form. This isn’t an issue unless you want a completely creamy layer for the top with NO blue gelatin specks. Plus, the more slowly you pour the gelatin into the cheese, cream mixture the more evenly it will spread without clumping.

    Easy Miso Chicken Salad Recipe

Miso marinated chicken is a popular dish in Japanese cuisine. The combination of sweet and salty flavors makes it ideal for summer, but you’ll want to try this recipe even if the season isn’t quite right yet. This version features fresh avocado, kiwi fruit and cilantro leaves that bring great textures and flavors to your meal.

This recipe is easy and tasty. It can be served on bread or in a lettuce wrap.

A quick and tasty alternative to traditional chicken salad is Chicken Miso Salad. It could just become your new favorite as it’s made with shredded chicken, miso, fresh ginger, mayo, and other basic ingredients. It’s a terrific way to increase your protein intake and enjoy soy’s other nutritional advantages to include soy in your diet by using miso and other products.

If you’ve been following me for a time, you already know how much I like both the farmers who provide our food and the food itself.

I’m honored to be working with the United Soybean Board and Best Food Facts to bring you this piece. Every view I have is, as usual, entirely my own.

Let’s face it, there wouldn’t be any food without our amazing farmers and their families. They genuinely are some of THE finest individuals you’ll ever meet due of the long hours they put in, their work ethic, and the enthusiasm and love they have for what they do.

    1658523191_79_Easy-Miso-Chicken-Salad-Recipe

At the end of June, I got the chance to visit Iowa with a few other bloggers. We visited a soy farm, heard from soy specialists, and spoke with farmers there about their methods and sustainability. Additionally, we went to the Food Hall of the World Prize Laureates and prepared a variety of soy dishes (keep reading to find out what they were!). Naturally, we were able to consume it all as well!

    1658523191_154_Easy-Miso-Chicken-Salad-Recipe

    Farm Struthers

In Collins, Iowa, Dave Struthers and his family own a farm. They divide their 1,100 acres between soy and maize production, yet just 3 people work on the whole farm! They grow 5,500 pigs and 33 cows each year, using the dung from both as fertilizer. You may not be aware that a tablespoon of dirt can contain more than a million bacteria.

Beginning in June, soybeans will be harvested in mid-October, and planting them too early puts the crop in risk of being destroyed by frost. Mother Nature may be quite unexpected, so they must be extremely conscious of this every year.

In between the plantings of other crops, rye is grown as a cover crop in part to reduce soil erosion, enhance soil quality, and control weeds. He utilizes the remaining plant material from the harvest of that cover crop as pig bedding.

I had the chance to speak with farmer Ethan Crow about soy in further detail at a dinner we went to on our last evening in Iowa. According to him, soy is a highly tough plant that can be produced in challenging circumstances. Sustainability is enhanced when a cover crop is grown before the soy.

Food Hall of the World Prize Laureates

We were given a tour of the World Food Prize Foundation’s home when we were in Iowa. It’s really fascinating and is known as the Nobel Prize of the food industry.

A stunning mural depicting Des Moines’ culinary and cultural heritage may be seen in the hall honoring previous winners.

You can see a stunning stained-glass dome with 7500 pieces as you go into the rotunda. Each of the rotunda’s four corners is devoted to one of the four grains that sustain civilization: grain corn Rice Soy

A sculpture showing the grain from root to fully developed plant can be found in each corner along with the name of the grain written in a different language. Everything is really amazing to behold. I strongly advise adding it on your list of things to do in Des Moines, Iowa, if you’re interested in food and agriculture!

    Details about Soy

Did you know that soybean oil makes up the majority of vegetable oils? Soybean oil will be mentioned as the only or main component when you check the ingredient list. Consuming around 1 12 teaspoons of soybean oil each day may lower your blood pressure and lower your chances of developing coronary heart disease!

Soybeans are a plant protein that is rich in fiber, folate, and phosphorus and is good for your heart. Soy is a fantastic alternative if you need protein and are following a certain diet since it is a high grade protein. Since we can’t make it, it is a complete protein that is necessary for our bodies.

According to Dr. Andreas Altemueller, a consultant for the United Soybean Board, there is a lot of worry about soy “because of the issue of allergenicity, in fact only certain of the products have a minor impact on a tiny fraction of the population.” The advantages of soy, such as its high-quality protein and widely useful oil, both of which have an FDA-approved health claim, need to be better understood.

    Women’s Soy Isoflavones –

Who wouldn’t be thrilled with the possibility that it might lessen their heat flashes? may lower your chance of developing breast cancer and other malignancies that are hormone-dependent. If you are a breast cancer survivor, it could also help you feel less tired.

Protein from Soy Isoflavones for Men –

According to research, soy has no impact on estrogen levels. Foods containing soy or foods that include soy may lower the risk of prostate cancer development. Strength and lean tissue were shown to increase with resistance exercise training, comparable to when using whey supplements.

    Tofu for Kids –

Looking for a vegan dairy alternative for your kid? It may be fortified soymilk! Baby formula made from soy is a wonderful substitute for human milk. You may eat soy products or meals containing soy with confidence knowing that your child’s growth and development is promoted since they provide a high-quality protein.

It may lower women’s risk of breast cancer, as was already mentioned. These websites provide excellent resources on soy as well:

    Cooking Chicken

On to the recipe now. I strongly advise using soy in cooking and baking if you haven’t already. In addition to being a healthy source of protein, it is also tasty in many ways.

Are you looking for a quick and tasty appetizer? It’s SO simple to make this Garlic Edamame, which beats the one you’d get at your favorite Asian eatery.

Love avocados? Me, too! That’s why I used edamame in this dish. It’s simple, tasty, and enjoyable for potlucks and game days.

    Describe Miso.

Miso is a fermented soy paste that will certainly blow your taste buds away with its umami richness. It may be used in a wide range of dishes, including the wildly famous miso soup and a ton of other things like chicken and fish! It is often used in Japanese cuisine. White miso, the mildest and sweetest of the three varieties, is used in this simple recipe.

Combined with the fresh ginger in this Cooking Chicken, you’ll love the flavor, and it might just become a new favorite recipe.

    Vegan Recipes

As in the past, I firmly advise you to join your local CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) in order to support your neighborhood farmers and to get shares of the fresh fruit and other products those farmers create.

Additionally, farmers LOVE to share their experiences and are more than happy to discuss their methods, what they do, and why they do it. What they go through and what it takes to feed both their family and us as customers would intrigue you. They put a lot of effort into making their farms sustainable, using the finest farming techniques they can to enhance their operations. They also do their utmost to be good stewards for their local communities and the area around them. Let’s face it, they are feeding their own families with the food they cultivate and the cattle they breed, so they want to provide us the greatest items they can. They also reside in an area where pesticides and fertilizers are sprayed, so you can be sure that they are very conscientious and worried about the health of individuals they care about.

Please give them a hug for me if you know one. Less than 2% of individuals are farmers, making them very remarkable people. They deserve to be lavished with ALL the love and admiration possible.

    Strawberry Cheesecake Dream Bars

If you are looking for a quick and easy dessert, try these bars. They only have three ingredients and can be assembled quickly! Plus they taste amazing!

The “Strawberry cream cheese” is a delicious ingredient in many desserts. Strawberry cheesecake is one of the most popular recipes that uses this ingredient. Read more in detail here: things to do with strawberry cream cheese.

A graham cracker crust, Strawberry fresh, and creamy cheesecake combine to make Dream Bars with Strawberry Cheesecake, a treat that doesn’t need baking. These strawberry cheesecake bars are the BEST you’ll ever eat, with a layer of white chocolate pudding and a whipped cream garnish.

    Dream Bars with Strawberry Cheesecake

For many years, my family has enjoyed making this tiered dessert. It’s nearly as popular with my readers as my Chocolate Peanut Butter Dream Bars.

Desserts that don’t need baking are always a fantastic option when the weather becomes warmer. I’m reminded of a dessert lasagna or luscious meal when I make these no-bake cheesecake bars.

    Dream Bars with Strawberry Cheesecake

I don’t see how anything could be better than these Dream Bars with Strawberry Cheesecake if you’re looking for a simple dessert that is brimming with Strawberry fresh.

The graham cracker shell serves as the ideal delivery system for the silky pudding, rich cheesecake, and luscious strawberries.

From the first mouthful, you’ll be in love with this dish. I swear.

Ingredients for Dream Bars with Strawberry Cheesecake

    What am I lacking?

What you need to create flawlessly stacked Strawberry Cheesecake Bars is listed below.

    • crumb graham crackers
    • Almond butter
    • Unfortunately, the Strawberry Creme pudding I used in the original recipe can no longer be found. However, Sonic has a Strawberry Shake pudding that you may use (though I haven’t tried it). Vanilla pudding prepared instantly will also work.
    • Milk
    • cheese, cream
    • sugar used for confections
    • Strawberry fresh
    • Stabilized whipped cream or Cool Whip

For those of you keeping track, a homemade no-bake cheesecake just requires nine Ingredients. Not terrible, correct?

    How do I succeed?

You’ll be cooking Dream Bars with Strawberry Cheesecake all the time once you realize how simple they are to create! 1. Strawberries must be mashed.

Four of the fresh berries should be mashed up using a mallet or a sturdy fork. Save the remainder for finishing your bars’ decorations.

    2. Create the crust from cookies.

Combine the crumb graham crackers with melted butter. You can also use Golden Oreos or graham crackers. Put them into the bowl of a food processor and pulse them into a fine crumble. Press this mixture into the bottom of the prepared pan. Then freeze it for 30 minutes while you make the filling.

Make the fillings in step 3.

Whisk together the white chocolate pudding (or package of strawberry pudding mix if you can find it) and milk in a small bowl. In a separate bowl, cream together the cheese, cream with mashed strawberries and confectioners sugar.

At this time, the filling ought to seem fluffy, creamy, and light pink.

    4. Get ready!

It’s time to stack each of these components to make a fantastic strawberry dessert.

Out of the freezer, remove the cold cookie layer. Layers should be added in the following order:

    • Sliced Strawberry fresh on top of the crust
    • filling for a creamy cheesecake
    • Pudding
    • more strawberry slices
    • Beaten topping

I like to add a few extra slices of strawberries on top of the whipped cream, plus a few handfuls of crumb graham crackers for a crumble topping to complete the look!

You may want to double the recipe as these will be a hit at your summer cookouts. To ensure there is enough for everyone, place it in a 9 x 13-inch baking dish.

    No Bake Strawberry Dream Bars

    How can I keep it?

Before serving, make sure to refrigerate this no-bake cheesecake for at least two hours. Layers of pudding and cheesecake will set up, making for ideal slices.

One look at the Ingredients for these Strawberry Cheesecake Bars shows you that this no bake dessert is full of perishable Ingredients including cheese, cream, milk and fresh fruit.

This implies that when you’re not eating it, it has to be kept in the refrigerator. After an hour or two, it may be left out without danger of early spoilage. Not to mention becoming too pliable to cut.

The bars can remain fresh for up to a week if you keep them covered and cold.

    Slices of Strawberry Cheesecake Bars

What might I substitute for strawberry creme pudding?

I’ve observed recently that it’s become more difficult to obtain the strawberry creme pudding mix that I love to use in this recipe. There is a simple solution if you’re having difficulties acquiring it too: white chocolate pudding mix!

It or vanilla are readily available in practically all supermarkets. To replicate the taste of the original “strawberries and cream,” add it simply or blend it with a few additional strawberries. It has the same great flavor!

Can I replace Cool Whip with heavy whipping cream?

I know some of you reading this are opposed to making desserts with Cool Whip or artificial Beaten toppings. As much as I LOVE the stuff, I get why you prefer the real thing.

But this is one of those times when you do really need to use Beaten topping with stabilizers, like Cool Whip or its’ store brand equivalents.

I have good news if you can’t locate it where you live or would prefer not to utilize it. For just that reason, I have a recipe for stable whipped cream!

Use it to create these Strawberry Bars after giving it a shot.

I vouch that it will be well worth it.

A bite taken out of a Cheesecake Dream Bar

    Dream Cocktails

Long-time readers are already aware of my little fanaticism over my dream bars. They are, in my opinion, the ideal no-bake dessert for any celebration.

If you could find anything to criticize about serving Strawberry cheese, cream Dream Bars for the dessert it would be that it doesn’t have chocolate. I enjoy the pure flavor of the strawberries and cream here.

I also have a recipe for Chocolate Covered Strawberry Dream Bars for those that NEED a little chocolate in their dessert. I’m not sure how I could choose between the two strawberries as dessert as my fave!

Blueberry season follows strawberry season, so now is the perfect time to whip up these Blueberry Almond Dream Bars! These No Bake Raspberry Cream Dream Bars are a favorite among raspberry dessert aficionados.

The simplicity and speed with which the dream bar recipe may be prepared, even without an oven, is my favorite feature. To make a delectable no-bake dessert like Turtle Dream Bars or Peanut Butter Cookie Dough Dream Bars, you only need a few Ingredients.

I find it impossible to choose a favorite recipe for dream bars. Simply create them all and let me know what you think.

Let’s start with the traditional no-bake cereal cookie, No Bake Chocolate Peanut Butter Cornflake Cookies. I utilize cereal as the foundation for a variety of oven-free treats, such as Lucky Charms Bark and Cinnamon Rice Krispies Treats.

My family enjoys other no-bake dessert recipes than cheesecake bars. One of my go-to summertime recipes is my No-Bake Lemon Cheesecake. Then, with this No Bake Cherry Hot Chocolate Cheesecake, you can still keep it “no-bake” when the colder season comes!

    strawberries as dessert

If the Strawberry fresh in this Strawberry Cheesecake Dream Bar recipe are what caught your eye, you’re in good company.

Since strawberries are my absolute favorite fruit, it stands to reason that I have a ton of strawberry-based recipes on my website.

I want to create strawberry cream muffins all year long, not just when strawberries are in season. Another baked dish that is excellent for breakfast or afternoon tea are these Easy Strawberry Scones.

Do you want dessert with your breakfast? or dessert for breakfast? In any case, you must try my recipe for Strawberry Nutella Crepes, which is packed with decadent chocolate and hazelnut spread.

I have a recipe for Strawberry Spinach Salad to disprove your assumption that I exclusively use strawberries in my cakes and baked items. It’s a quick lunch or side dish that’s bursting with flavor and freshness. Even adding grilled chicken makes it a meal!

Are you as fond of cookies as I am? These strawberry buttercream sugar cookies are delicious. Amazing icing, indeed!

My Dream Cocktails are by far my most popular, but this Strawberry Pretzel Pie is pretty popular in itself. Just like that Strawberry pretzel salad your grandma used to make, it’s a dessert you’ll make for years to come.

The flavor combination of strawberry and rhubarb has always been a favorite of mine. Although I like strawberry rhubarb pie, I would much rather have strawberry rhubarb galette. It’s simple to prepare and much simpler to consume!

Circus Animal Cookie Rice Krispie Treats

A circus animal cookie is a treat that looks like an ordinary Rice Krispie Treat, but it has been shaped into the face of a different type of animal. It’s usually made with oatmeal or semolina and chocolate chips for fun. The ingredients are mixed together in one bowl and then formed into shapes before being baked to perfection! This recipe makes enough cookies for about 8-10 servings

Animal cookie desserts are a great treat for anyone with a sweet tooth. This recipe is simple and easy to make, and the ingredients are cheap.

Rice Krispie Treats with an additional splash of color are called Circus Animal Rice Krispie Treats. Embedded within and on top of chewy rice cereal bites are little bits of frosted animal cookies. These snacks are ideal for children and those who are still children at heart since they include a beloved kid cookie, marshmallow mixture, rainbow sprinkles, and a pink sugar drizzle.

Animal Circus Cookie Crispy Rice Treats

Today I’m merging two dessert favorites from my youth, circus cookies and rice krispies, into one simple dish. This family-friendly dessert is perfect if you enjoy the flavor of the traditional foods but want to prepare something with a bit extra flair.

    • Folded within were crushed cookies.
    • Sprinkles of holiday nonpareils!
    • A nice finishing touch would be a pink and white drizzle.

At your next birthday celebration or bake sale, how great would they look on the dessert table? Absolutely cute

Ingredients for Animal Circus Cookie Crispy Rice Treats

    What am I lacking?

The recognizable components of the traditional rice krispie treat recipe are there, along with a few modifications, in Circus Animal Rice Krispie Treats. You’ll need the following.

    • If you’ve never heard of circus animal cookies, they’re just animal crackers covered in white chocolate and sprinkles!
    • Make sure the marshmallows are fresh.
    • Use a generic brand of popped rice cereal instead of Rice Krispies.
    • I advise using unsalted butter in this dish.
    • The tiny, circular sprinkles are called rainbow nonpareils.
    • To melt and drizzle over the bars are white chocolate chips.
    • If you’d rather have your white chocolate plain, you may omit the food dye that is red.

A baking dish of crispy cereal treats with colorful cookies and sprinkles.

    Why can’t I create them?

One of the simplest circus animal cookie desserts to prepare is this.

Create cookie crumbs in step one.

In a food processor, pulse the circus animal cookies a few times. Crumbs and bigger cookie chunks ought to be among what’s left.

    Rice Krispie Treats, step two.

Now combine your tablespoons of butter and marshmallows in a stovetop saucepan. Until they are well blended, stir often. Crushed cookies, cereal, and a little amount of sprinkles should all be added to the saucepan. Blend well. In a baking dish that has been buttered, gently press the Rice Krispie mixture.

In the microwave, melt your white chocolate chips. Fill a ziploc bag with half of the melted chocolate. To make the leftover chocolate pink, add a few drops of food coloring!

Then put the pink chocolate in a different bag. Slice a corner off of each bag, then sprinkle the rice krispie treats with the melted chocolate. Sprinkle the leftover nonpareils right away.

Slice, serve, and enjoy the chocolate when it has set.

Drizzled white and pink chocolate on top of colorful rice krispie treats.

How should Rice Krispie Treats be stored?

These dessert treats shaped like circus animals, like other Rice Krispie Treats, should be kept at room temperature in an airtight container.

I do not suggest freezing or cooling them. Fast-hardening cold crispy rice snacks lose their ideal chewy texture when frozen.

    Tips & Tricks

    • Cook with nonstick utensils! It is considerably simpler to combine the goodies in a nonstick saucepan and to clean up afterwards. I use a sauce pan from Anolon, which I previously reviewed.
    • Not too strong of a push. The completed bars will taste denser and firmer the harder you press the goodies into the pan.
    • Apply baking spray liberally! By nature, Rice Krispie Treats are STICKY. If you don’t want to spend your day scraping sticky sweets from a pan, don’t forget to complete this important step.

    Recipes for Rice Krispies Treats

In the 1970s, when my mother prepared Rice Krispie Treats, she always followed the recipe exactly. Never add any garnishes, additions, or embellishments!

As a little child, I didn’t have any complaints about my favorite food, but as an adult, I prefer to be a bit more inventive. The cinnamon-sugar icing on snickerdoodles that you like serves as the inspiration for these Cinnamon Rice Krispies Treats. I made these Cake Batter Krispie Bars when I wanted a fast no-bake dessert for a birthday celebration.

Did you know that the Kellogg Company created Rice Krispie Treats as a fundraiser for the Campfire Girls? These S’Mores Rice Krispie Treats would probably be a hit with the campfire gals too!

    Equipment

    • weighing scales

    • spoons for measuring

    • Blender or food processor

    • 9 x 13-inch baking pan

    • a big nonstick pot

    • rubber spatula

    • sandwich bags, two

    • scissors

    • two little mixing bowls

    Ingredients

    • Circus Animal Cookies, 9 ounces
    • 1 kilogram of small marshmallows
    • 6 cups of cereal Rice Krispies
    • Unsalted butter, 4 tablespoons
    • split into 3 tablespoons, multicolored nonpareils
    • 3 teaspoons of sprinkles, split into colors
    • White chocolate chips, half a cup
    • food dye that is red

    Instructions

    • Prepare a 9 x 13-inch baking pan by spraying it with cooking spray.

    • Put all of the circus cookies in a food processor, and pulse it three to four times, just until the cookies are in tiny bits and crumbs. To sprinkle on top, save 1/2 cup of the cookie pieces.

    • Melt the butter and marshmallows in a big saucepan over low heat, stirring often.

    • Get rid of the heat. Rice Krispies, broken cookies, 1 tablespoon of nonpareils, and 1 tablespoon of sprinkles should all be added to the saucepan. Combine well after mixing. Add 1 tablespoon each of the nonpareils and the sprinkles before recombining.

    • With a rubber spatula, transfer the mixture to the prepared baking dish and smooth it out evenly.

    • On top, scatter the leftover cookie crumbs.

    • Place 1/4 cup of white chocolate chips in each of two small dishes. 30 seconds in the microwave. Stir until chocolate is creamy and smooth and chips are melted.

    • Put the contents of one bowl in a sandwich bag with a zipper closure. Drizzle the Rice Krispie treats with a little piece of one of the cut corners.

    • Put in a very tiny amount food dye that is red into the other bowl of melted white chocolate and stir. Add more food coloring until desired hue of pink is achieved. Do not add too much at first (as I did) because it will turn red and there’s no turning back at that point. If you find that the chocolate is becoming too thick to stir, add 1/2 teaspoon of the heavy cream and stir until smooth. You will not need to reheat.

    • Cut a little corner off of the pink chocolate bag, put it in a zipper-top bag, and sprinkle the pink chocolate in the opposite way as the white chocolate.

    • Add the last spoonful of sprinkles and nonpareils.

    • until set, let cool.

Summertime is peak popsicle season if you’re a parent or grandparent.

As soon as the weather warms up, I know we’ll need to fill the freezer with popsicles, even if it’s just a box of freeze pops, as well as rocky road ice cream and no-churn ice cream.

After all, there’s nothing like reclining with a popsicle after coming out of the pool on a hot summer day.

Even while I like sophisticated popsicles like roasted berry goat cheese popsicles, prosecco popsicles (for the grownups), and banana split popsicles, there are times when I simply want to keep it simple.

This summer, we’ve been making strawberry popsicles on a regular basis. They’re as simple to make as buying a box of popsicles, yet they’re now a top desire around here.

POPSICLES WITH STRAWBERRIES THAT ARE EASY TO MAKE AT HOME

Have you tried Outshine fruit popsicles before? They’re fantastic, but they’re also somewhat pricey.

They’re my favorite since they’re jam-packed with fruit. They have a fantastic texture that isn’t at all chilly.

Even while these homemade strawberry popsicles aren’t an exact replica of Outshine’s, the creamy, delicious feel is quite similar.

    1655480712_30_Strawberry-Popsicles-with-Greek-yogurt

Fresh, juicy strawberries are used to make these handmade popsicles. I also added some Yogurt from Greece to my peaches and cream popsicles to keep them creamy, give a little of acidic taste, and sneak in some protein.

To avoid sounding like “that mom,” I also like that they include just a smidgeon of honey rather than a slew of sugar. I don’t believe a lot of sugar is necessary since the Strawberries in season are sweet enough!

So, although my family thinks they’re a nice summer treat, I can rest easy knowing that they’re largely eating fresh fruit and a little amount of yogurt rather than something with a lot of added sugar.

Oh, and they’re really simple to make!

STRAWBERRY POPSICLES: HOW TO MAKE THEM

This strawberry popsicle recipe is a must-try if you have a lot of Strawberries in season on hand.

    You’ll need the following Ingredients:

Long ingredient lists have their time and place, but this recipe isn’t one of them. To prepare these popsicles, you’ll only need five easy Ingredients:

    • Strawberries in season
    • Milk
    • Yogurt from Greece
    • Honey
    • Extract of vanilla

    1655480714_547_Strawberry-Popsicles-with-Greek-yogurt

I have all of these items on hand at all times, particularly during the summer.

In fact, if you like yogurt and fruit for breakfast, these popsicles are a frozen treat version of that.

For the basis of this recipe, you’ll need 1 cup of strawberry puree. You’ll need roughly 2 cups of hulled and halved strawberries to make 1 cup of puree.

Is it possible to use frozen strawberries?

If you are out of Strawberries in season or want to make these popsicles when strawberries are out of season, the good news is that you CAN make this recipe with frozen strawberries.

Simply defrost the frozen strawberries before pureeing them, then follow the recipe’s Instructions.

The final popsicles won’t have the same perfectly creamy texture as when they are made with Strawberries in season, but the flavor is still great and they are still the perfect summer treat!

    1655480715_250_Strawberry-Popsicles-with-Greek-yogurt

    You’ll need the following equipment.

A blender or food processor (to puree your strawberries) and popsicle molds are the two primary items you’ll need, in addition to measuring cups and a dish.

A 3.25-fluid-ounce popsicle mold is my favorite. This recipe will yield 6 popsicles if you use this size.

If you select a smaller or bigger mold, bear in mind that the recipe may yield more or fewer popsicles and will require less or more time to completely freeze.

    Creating this dish

Simply mix together the strawberry puree, milk, yogurt, honey, and vanilla to produce the popsicle foundation.

Pour the mixture into the popsicle molds after adding the chopped strawberries. Make sure the molds aren’t overflowing!

Add your popsicle sticks and freeze the popsicles for at least 4 hours, however depending on your freezer, they may require longer time to properly set.

You’re ready to enjoy your homemade popsicles after they’ve completely frozen!

    VARIATIONS ON THE RECIPE

This dish may be altered in a variety of ways to fit dietary restrictions, food allergies, and personal tastes.

For a dairy-free version, use your favorite dairy-free milk and yogurt. Using a coconut-based milk and yogurt would be especially delicious with the Strawberries in season.

Use your preferred dairy-free milk and yogurt, and replace the honey with agave nectar or maple syrup for a vegan alternative.

    1655480717_940_Strawberry-Popsicles-with-Greek-yogurt

Try swapping the plain Yogurt from Greece with a flavored Yogurt from Greece, such as vanilla, honey, or strawberry.

And lastly, don’t limit yourself to just Creating this dish with strawberries! Sure, it’s a strawberry popsicle recipe, but that doesn’t mean you can’t try it with other fruits!

Use raspberries, peaches, mango, blueberries, or a mix of your favorite fruits in this recipe. Your creativity is the only limit!

Try these strawberry popsicles for your next pool party, summer movie night, or just as a refreshing treat on a hot day. They’ll be a hit with the entire family!

    Ingredients

    • 1 cup pureed strawberries (from about 2 cups hulled and halved Strawberries in season)
    • milk (six tablespoons)
    • ½ cup plain Yogurt from Greece
    • honey (two teaspoons)
    • ¼ teaspoon Extract of vanilla
    • ½ cup diced Strawberries in season

    Instructions

    1. Combine the strawberry puree, milk, yogurt, honey, and vanilla in a mixing bowl and whisk until smooth. Toss in the chopped strawberries and mix well.
    2. Fill popsicle molds with the mixture and add sticks. Allow for at least 4 hours of freezing time.

    Notes

    • This recipe can work with thawed frozen strawberries, but if you only have frozen berries, you may want to remove the chopped strawberries.
    • You may substitute a flavored Yogurt from Greece (such as vanilla, honey, or strawberry) for the plain Yogurt from Greece if you prefer.
    • Use your favorite dairy-free milk and yogurt to make a dairy-free variation. Use dairy-free milk and yogurt, and replace the honey with agave nectar or maple syrup for a vegan alternative.
    • The amount of time it takes to freeze depends on your freezer.

Strawberry Popsicles are a refreshing summertime treat. They are easy to make and can be customized with different flavors of yogurt. This recipe is made with Greek yogurt, so it’s not only healthy but also tasty! Reference: greek yogurt popsicles brands.
