A peach bellini is a cocktail made with white peach puree and champagne. This drink offers the sweet, fresh taste of peaches without their grassy flavor. It can also be served frozen for those who prefer it cold. This simple recipe has been enjoyed by people all over the world since its first appearance in 1919 but what makes this particular drink such a success?。

The “peach bellini cocktail” is a refreshing drink that can be made with a peach or nectarine, champagne, and fresh lemon juice. It is usually served over ice in a flute glass.

Bellini with peaches is a delicious and effervescent alcoholic drink created with sweetened pureed peaches and Prosecco. For another delightful and sparkling adult beverage, try my Lemon Vodka Prosecco.

A Bellini with peaches is a fizzy cocktail that is made with peaches and prosecco or champagne. It is similar to a mimosa, but a mimosa is made with orange juice. If you love Prosecco, check out my Cranberry Mimosa and Creamsicle Prosecco cocktails. All of these drinks are fun to serve any time of the year, but always extra fun during the holidays!

Ingredients in Bellini

This drink has just three basic components.

I used peaches that had been thawed from freezer. In a blender, combine the thawed peaches with the peach juice. Place the frozen peaches in the refrigerator overnight to defrost. Alternatively, defrost them at room temperature (about 4 hours).

I just used a spoonful of granulated sugar in the recipe. You might, however, omit it.

Prosecco is a sparkling white wine produced from the Glera grape. Although champagne might be used in the cocktail, champagne is manufactured from a different vine. Simply substitute a non-alcoholic version of the cocktail for the Prosecco. Non-alcoholic sparkling white wines come in a wide range of flavors.

How to Make a Bellini with peaches

This cocktail is quite simple to make. The drink will be pleasant and cold if you use frozen peaches that have just been thawed! Use peaches that haven’t been frozen for too long, since this can change the flavor of the drink.

When ready to make the Bellini with peaches, add the thawed peaches, along with the juice, and sugar to a blender. Mix the peaches and sugar until well blended. Then, fill a flute glass (or your favorite glass) halfway with the pureed peaches. Top it off with Prosecco. Cheers!

Is it Possible to Use Fresh Peaches?

Yes! Fresh peaches may also be pureed, but they must first be peeled. This recipe calls for 3 to 4 medium peaches. Make a few slits in the skin with a paring knife to peel the peaches. The peel generally comes off easily after that.

Blanching the peaches is another way for peeling them. Prepare a kettle of boiling water for blanching the peaches. Cook the peaches for 10-20 seconds in boiling water. After that, quickly submerge the peaches in freezing water to halt the cooking process. After being placed in the icy water, the skins should easily peel away with a paring knife.

Is it possible to make this drink without alcoholic beverages?

Yes! A non-alcoholic sparkling wine would still be fizzy and delightful; there is a broad range to pick from. Alternatively, just top up with soda water!
