What is the best way to create Elephant Ears out of puff pastry?
This dish takes just a few minutes to prepare.
STEP 1: Prepare the pastry dough by rolling it out.
I dust the surface with cinnamon sugar before carefully unrolling the dough into a rectangle on top.
STEP 2: Sprinkle with cinnamon sugar.
To guarantee that every mouthful is full of delightful cinnamon flavor, spread it all the way to the edges.
STEP 3: Roll out the dough and refrigerate.
Roll one of the rectangle’s longer sides in toward the center. Come to a halt in the middle of the dough. To make two spiral logs, repeat the process on the opposite side. Refrigerate the rolled dough for approximately 1 hour after wrapping it in plastic wrap.
STEP 4: Bake it!
Bake for 12–15 minutes after cutting the refrigerated dough into pieces. Halfway through the baking time, rotate the Baking Tray to ensure that the cinnamon palmiers bake evenly.
While they are baking, your kitchen will smell amazing! And I swear the palmiers taste much better as they smell.
Is it possible to prepare this recipe using handmade pastry dough?
