The graham cracker shell serves as the ideal delivery system for the silky pudding, rich cheesecake, and luscious strawberries.
From the first mouthful, you’ll be in love with this dish. I swear.
What am I lacking?
What you need to create flawlessly stacked Strawberry Cheesecake Bars is listed below.
- crumb graham crackers
- Almond butter
- Unfortunately, the Strawberry Creme pudding I used in the original recipe can no longer be found. However, Sonic has a Strawberry Shake pudding that you may use (though I haven’t tried it). Vanilla pudding prepared instantly will also work.
- Milk
- cheese, cream
- sugar used for confections
- Strawberry fresh
- Stabilized whipped cream or Cool Whip
For those of you keeping track, a homemade no-bake cheesecake just requires nine Ingredients. Not terrible, correct?
How do I succeed?
You’ll be cooking Dream Bars with Strawberry Cheesecake all the time once you realize how simple they are to create! 1. Strawberries must be mashed.
Four of the fresh berries should be mashed up using a mallet or a sturdy fork. Save the remainder for finishing your bars’ decorations.
2. Create the crust from cookies.
Combine the crumb graham crackers with melted butter. You can also use Golden Oreos or graham crackers. Put them into the bowl of a food processor and pulse them into a fine crumble. Press this mixture into the bottom of the prepared pan. Then freeze it for 30 minutes while you make the filling.
Make the fillings in step 3.
Whisk together the white chocolate pudding (or package of strawberry pudding mix if you can find it) and milk in a small bowl. In a separate bowl, cream together the cheese, cream with mashed strawberries and confectioners sugar.
At this time, the filling ought to seem fluffy, creamy, and light pink.
4. Get ready!
It’s time to stack each of these components to make a fantastic strawberry dessert.
Out of the freezer, remove the cold cookie layer. Layers should be added in the following order:
- Sliced Strawberry fresh on top of the crust
- filling for a creamy cheesecake
- Pudding
- more strawberry slices
- Beaten topping
I like to add a few extra slices of strawberries on top of the whipped cream, plus a few handfuls of crumb graham crackers for a crumble topping to complete the look!
You may want to double the recipe as these will be a hit at your summer cookouts. To ensure there is enough for everyone, place it in a 9 x 13-inch baking dish.
How can I keep it?
Before serving, make sure to refrigerate this no-bake cheesecake for at least two hours. Layers of pudding and cheesecake will set up, making for ideal slices.
One look at the Ingredients for these Strawberry Cheesecake Bars shows you that this no bake dessert is full of perishable Ingredients including cheese, cream, milk and fresh fruit.
This implies that when you’re not eating it, it has to be kept in the refrigerator. After an hour or two, it may be left out without danger of early spoilage. Not to mention becoming too pliable to cut.
The bars can remain fresh for up to a week if you keep them covered and cold.
What might I substitute for strawberry creme pudding?
I’ve observed recently that it’s become more difficult to obtain the strawberry creme pudding mix that I love to use in this recipe. There is a simple solution if you’re having difficulties acquiring it too: white chocolate pudding mix!
It or vanilla are readily available in practically all supermarkets. To replicate the taste of the original “strawberries and cream,” add it simply or blend it with a few additional strawberries. It has the same great flavor!
Can I replace Cool Whip with heavy whipping cream?
I know some of you reading this are opposed to making desserts with Cool Whip or artificial Beaten toppings. As much as I LOVE the stuff, I get why you prefer the real thing.
But this is one of those times when you do really need to use Beaten topping with stabilizers, like Cool Whip or its’ store brand equivalents.
I have good news if you can’t locate it where you live or would prefer not to utilize it. For just that reason, I have a recipe for stable whipped cream!
Use it to create these Strawberry Bars after giving it a shot.
I vouch that it will be well worth it.
